I actually got a different colour - Teal I think. but the yarn is so lovely to knit with. soft and slightly fluffy, but not enough to interfere with the needles and get tangled. Knits up beautifully, perfect for a Christmas present for my friend who has a wool allergy

I’m making the plush poncho by Martin Storey in the Alpaca Classic. It’s very fine but looks lovely knitted up. Don’t make a mistake as it’s tricky to undo! Couldn’t quite work out the bobble stitch in the pattern but found a similar one on YouTube and it’s looking fab.

Very good product, however I chose this yarn as a substitute for discontinued Kid Silk. It isn't quite the same but that's not the fault of Lovecrafts.

Lightweight and great to knit with compared to other alpaca wool that I have tried. Does not break like another I alpaca that I used. Very happy with my project. Not quite finished so can’t comment on the aftercare.
