Review summary
Reviewers mostly praise how soft the yarn is and how well it knits up. Colours are described as matching the photos. Complaints are uncommon: one reviewer had expected a softer yarn given its alpaca and silk content.

I was first drawn to it because of the silk and wool mix. I originally wanted to pair it with another yarn as an accent, but changed my mind. Now it's an accent to a sweater I'm making out of Valley Yarn Superwash Merino 'Lilac.' The Northfield is softer but they are pretty comparable as far as knitting together goes. I just love the yarn, no splitting and I will for sure be getting it again.
This yarn is a favorite of mine. It knits up smoothly, has great stitch definition, and is so soft. I love the plush, springy feel and all of the colors it comes in
I just finished my first one last night and will be making more of them. Pattern was easy to follow and the Aran Paintbox yarn was perfect for this.
Soft and a joy to work with. Color was exactly as shown. I actually bought again in a different color..
It knits up well although I had expected it to be softer with alpaca silk content. Good range of colours.
Soft yarn. Great colors. Knits up great.
Always reliable. Fast delivery. Lovely wool.
Great sale prices. Great quality.
Wonderful to knit with this yarn
