Review summary
Most reviewers praise the yarn's softness, how easily it knits and crochets, and its good value for money. Several also like the range of colours. Complaints are uncommon: a few reviewers find it thinner than other DK yarns or prone to splitting, and one reviewer says the colour changes spoil a cable pattern.

I love this yarn and have bought it in three different shades. It is nice and soft, and easy to use with hardly any splitting and no knotting. Also, I like the finished effect of the mingled colors. It is very good value for the money. as are all the other Stylecraft double knitting yarns.:
Numerous yarns - including style craft special - lovely tweedy dk - knits up beautifully
I love this - I first bought it because the colour I needed wasn't available in the DK I usually use, but this is softer and really works up well so I buy it more now.
I’m using this to make a cardigan. It’s an interesting mix of bright pink and dark flecks. It knits up well, but wasn’t the best choice for knitting cables because the colour changes detract from the pattern.
For non-wool content, this is the best acrylic yarn on the market - in my opinion. Knits up beautifully with plenty of body in it
Have not started knitting with this order but the other colour of stylecraft extra special I ordered knitted up lovely and turned out great. nice yarn to use.
I love Stylecraft yarn. It’s easy to work with and Crochet’s lovely, I just wish I had more space to store more yarn!!
I have purchased this yarn before directly from the UK. I was happy to find it available through LoveCraft.
