A simple textured blanket that’s perfect for new knitters.
Simple knit and purl patterns are placed in block stripes across the blanket and surrounded by a simple garter stitch border. If you can cast on, knit, purl and cast off you will be able to knit this blanket.
A small square baby blanket that'a a great size for wrapping babies on the go!... in buggies and car seats. A longer rectangular baby blanket that is great for babies at bedtime. The medium and large blankets/afghans are perfect for your cosy evenings on the sofa.
Baby (Square) = 66cm x 66cm
Baby (Rectangle) = 66cm x 88cm
Medium = 97cm x 109cm
Large = 126cm x 135cm
Knit this blanket with DK yarn on a pair 4mm (US6) needles. The beautifully soft blanket shown here is knitted with Bliss Rialto DK in Duck Egg.
