A blanket project
I use the paintbox chunky for the granny squares and the red heart super saver for joining and the borders. These yarns work well for my design. I now have enough for four blankets.

Yarn is yarn is yarn, right? Nope. I don't have a lot of money, so Red Heart Super Saver is my go-to. Most of my yarn in my stash is over 10 years old. I've got Red Heart yarn in my box so old that it has dye lot numbers. I was shocked at the elasticity of the new yarn, and one skein of the new yarn knits more volume for less yarn than that old stuff in my box.The yarn is so vastly different I am wondering if Red Heart changed the way they make the yarn.

I already knew the quality of Red Heart Super Saver yarn and I needed a small quantity of it for a loom along blanket project that I am a part of, but couldn't obtain at my local store.
