Extra wide 'L' bar, 6" wider than the regular 'L' bar supplied with the workstands, and ideal for using when the arm of your sofa/chair is wide or padded. For use with all stands apart from stainless steel workstands. Diameter of bar approx 11mm. The L Bar is 18 inches (14.72cm) vertically and 12 inches (30.48cm) horizontally.

I bought a Lowery Long-bar extension for my Lowery Workstand. It works great for the times I cross-stitch on my couch -which has a thick arm base. No issues here - thank you! Hopefully you will start to carry the corner clamps in the future for those who use Q-snaps
I absolutely LOVE the Extra Wide L Bar!!!! It has made such a huge difference in how I sit while using my Lowery stand along with being able to reach over the arm of whatever chair/couch I'm sitting at to work on my cross stitching!!

I bought the Lowery Cross Stitch ‘L’ bar extension piece and it’s been a game changer. The (very) expensive stand became fully functional with this additional piece and now I feel like I’m finally getting my money’s worth out of the stand.
The Lowery stands are game-changers for people who use hoops and frames. So much easier to stitch now.
The longer bar will allow me to stitch at my couch (which has wide arms) and I could not be more excited for the flexibility I’ll have now!
